We're looking for a workflow functionality where you would structure the workflow to start executing on a specific date, and also continue executing after that date. For example, we have product launches where we can't create a ticket for pre-orders until a specific date, but we then need it to continue execute it after the date passes for anyone who places an order after the initial launch date.
Right now, there's the "date centered" workflow functionality where it will execute on a specific date, but not continue executing after that date and time has passed. The only way to get it to function the way that we need it to right now, is to turn the workflows on at the date and time we need them to start executing. Luckly, in our business, this will always be on business days. But it would be nice to either have a functionality that turns on the workflow at a specific date a time, or a functionality similar to the "date centered" workflow functionality, but that continues executing past the initial date.
