Workflow Error Retry Option

When a contact does not complete a workflow task for whatever reason, it would be awesome to just be able to correct the error and then click a button that says "retry" this task.  

 

In my case, I run into SFDC sync errors that require me to fix the Hubspot contact fields or address something on the SFDC side to permit the sync to go through. Once I have done that they only way to get that person through is to manually enroll them again, which I don't always want to do because that would create duplicate lead scoring, etc.  Or manually enroll them in SFDC.  

 

An option to "Retry" workflow errors would be awesome.

How is this not an option already, what are we to do if we run into an error?  Do we need to run the whole workflow again?

Google Sheet app got disconnected and as a result I lost several days of data when the workflow tried to execute this step.  It would be great if there was a way to re-attempt execution of the missing workflow step once I got it reconnected.
