I use HubSpots workflows a ton and viewing their success/failures more easily, like in a dashboard, would be great. I have MQL and SQL workflows that run regularly and also create them for large events we exhibit at and it would be great to more readily see their results and determine which workflows/emails need the most optimization.
Hi everyone! My name is Hallie, and I'm a Program Manager on the CXM Team. This has been delivered since the beta was released last year; you can read more about this feature in this KB. This is currently available for Enterprise customers. 🙂
Yesterday we launched a beta for an Analyze Tab for Workflows. As always,I would appreciate hearing any and all feedback for our next iteration of workflow reporting.
How we are hoping this will help:
Customers need a comprehensive overview of all their automations, coupled with the capability to delve into specific automations, to effectively monitor the impact of automation on their business. These analytical tools will assist customers in easily identifying:
The extent to which automation is employed across their business and potential areas for further automation.
Performance metrics of automations, including changes in enrollment rates, and comparing enrollment of specific workflows or groups of workflows.
Until now, the sole method for customers to access this information is by monitoring the logs of each individual workflow.
Please go to product updates to join the beta. If you have feedback for the next iteration of the analyze experience please email me directly, or book time with me to discuss! Thank you in advance for sharing how we can better meet your needs!
Workflow reporting is one of our 2023 product initiatives. I will update this group when we get closer to having beta access ready. In the meantime, if you are willing to share more information about your workflow reporting needs, please contact me directly at jhartnagle@hubspot.com.
Thank you for all your feedback and ideas for Workflows reporting and dashboards. The team is planning updates for Workflows reporting. I will update this thread as we make progress, and get closer to a Beta.
Yes, please! We use workflows to nurture prospects towards a specific goal or action. It would be nice to prove the value of nurturing leads without creating an individual list for every single workflow. This isn't realistic if you have customized workflows by personas, lifecycle stages, or if you're selling multiple products or services.
We need this! I need to track when a contact has passed through MQL lifecycle stage. Right now, if someone makes a mistake and reverts it back to lead or something else "below" MQL, then it won't track in my dashboard.
However, I could at the very least look at total enrollments in my automated MQL lifecycle update workflow if this was an option. Would help as a workaround.
All I need to see is a date range of the total number of users who enrolled/completed a workflow. It's currently impossible to know how well our workflows are capturing/utilizing lead data. It seems stange that these basic but important tools do not exist...
This is absolutely necessary. We use workflows to nurture prospects towards scheduling a call with our Sales team. I need an easy way to track how many contacts are in the series and which emails are leading to the best conversions.
We need to be able to understand how different workflows interact with one another in a reporting structure. In my example, one of my metrics is increase a users lead score based on how they move from one flow to the other. We have one flow dedicated to users with scored between 25-49, the goal with that workflow is to helo increase their scores through content exellence. When a users hits a score of 50 or higher, they than enter a new flow that's dedicated to users with higher intent, and with scores between 50-74. When a user hits a score of 75 or higher, they are unrolled and passed over to the SDR team as these users have passed a certain intent level withing our funnel. The success/failures and interaction of users in these workflows is a critical through reporting.
I agree with everyone here, workflows are an essential part of our strategy and we have different ones responding to separate parts of the customer lifecycle. Having a quick overview of all live workflows, filterable by workflow, to see how many contacts are in there, week on week enrollments and goal fulfillment, as well as number of days before conversion/goal fulfillment. I'm sure there are other metrics that could be interesting but these are the main ones I can think of.
Nurture workflows are critical to our strategy and one of the key reasons we are using HubSpot. Please provide tools to better report on workflows so we can easily make decisions about what flows are working, without having to set up lists and janky workarounds.
I fully agree with the suggested idea. In addition - I would like to have some sort of reporting on the workflow itself.
Who do we lose at which step? Which flows work best for which type of clients up to which points?
We have plenty of workflows already and we need to get a better understanding on what type of flows there are and how we can optimize this before it becomes a forest of flows which is difficult to manage.
If there's a report anywhere on the site it should be easy to just click a button that says "add to dashboard" and you should be able to paste it to any of the dashboards you've got.
I would really like to be able to report on automated email workflows. A dashboard of total opens and clicks etc would be really useful for reporting and comparing the success of each one as a whole. Thanks guys.
