Workflow Branching - Check and Run ALL branches fitting criteria

With the current set up, Hubspot only allows you to create a workflow where the first branch matching the criteria runs. Hubspot should add a feature which allows you to create workflows where all branches are checked and run if the criteria match. For example, if I have some contact property with options A, B, C and D the workflow runs all matching branches. Let's say, prior to workflow run, the contact has been marked with A, B, C and D. It would branch on the contact property then check branch A which would run. Now instead of stopping there it would still check branches B-D and run all of those as well since all have been marked in my example. If I only marked B and D, it would check all 4 branches still but only run B and D. This would prevent users from creating some unwieldy workflows.

Hi, I was confronted with the same problem last week. I did find a workaround, being it not the simplest one.

Basically I wanted to set up a workflow that appends a domain of interst to contacts based on downloads, form submissions etc.

Since we have defined 5-6 domains of interest I wanted to run through to all the assets linked to those different domains of interest.

How I managed to workaround this is by setting up individual branches per domain of interest. So starting with one branch of domain of interest A, if these criteria are met the domain of property gets appended. After that step I included a delay type "event occurence", here the workflow will check if the property value has been changed or not. If it is changed the contact goes to the next step which is another branch set up as described above, if it's not changed he is routed to the next branch. If the branch criteria were not met the contact goes to "none met", from there on he is routed to the next branch.

Make sure to be catious to route the contacts to the right step, here a snapshot of the flow:

@NTemmerman this seems like a good workaround. Hopefully they add an update so we don't have to use it longterm! @SJeremias I would try this out for now too.

Thanks for sharing this workaround. I'm also hoping for an update soon, as facing a similar workflow with 27 options that can be appended....

This would be incredible to avoid multiple worflows to do the same kind of ation on the same object.

I agree, this would be a very useful feature, HubSpot!
