The current filtering across objects in workflows is ok for simple tasks, but often we need to select th correct associated record with some simple filters such as numeric or string comparisons.
For example, if a company workflow uses additional data from a contact, and their are 100 contacts, we need to select for example the individual with the highest lead score.
This is a simplistic example, we do a lot of more complex association data work across custom objects, but currently we still have to rely on custom code in the workflows.
Unfortunately, most revops folks are not developers, so it becomes a step in the workflow that they can't change, instead it becomes an engineering request, which adds days to small workflow changes.
If you add more granular filtering options it would save us time and money while helping accelerate growth.
