With regards to tracking email openings from a specif client
Hi Team, just came across quite a good use case 🙂 It seems that for now for our marketing email dashboard there would be analytics from people who have opened from a specific client. Although we can export some of the data under the "Recipients tab" > List actions > export > see the User Agent column, I thought it might be useful to bring it as a property, so we can filter it using our Lists Tool too. The use case would be (i)either sending email templates that are customized to different email clients (ii) if there are any email specific client content towards the recepients, it would be helpful too.
Hi @claw, can definitely see how this would be useful! We've tried things like this in the past but have seen mixed results with it due to how often this property could update. It can happen that you might open on a mobile and then later on a desktop, and flip between them both on a regular basis, as a result you could end up on List A and very quickly move to List B so it's difficult to be sure that you're tailoring the content correctly. Unfortunately we don't have any plans to add in this functionality soon, but if that changes we'll definitely follow up.
