I am amazed that there's not a way to change the title of forms in HubSpot. For example, when you make a standalone form and open it in a new tab, the name of the tab simply says "form." As advanced as this platform is, there are certain features that are missed.
@CLY thank you for posting this! I came here looking for the exact same thing. I just got a notification that someone looked at "Form." I'm like which one and why is that all it's called? I should be able to set the title of the Form. OR if a form is shared by embed or direct link, at least use the internal name of the Form as the title.
Yes, agree! For such a complex platform, little things like this for users is a must have in functionality, rather than a nice to have. Hoping that the developers can see this please and action soon.
I'm amidst an issue with one of my portals where on the traffic analytics page (under reports/analytics tools/traffic analytics then 'pages') - I have a 'Form' listed as a highly clicked item. The fact that is is called 'Form' is odd.
The second odd thing is that the link is currently broken when you click on it. Thankfully I have worked out which form this is, however, having it labelled in a list of web pages just as Form is just not quite up there with the professionalism we are needing here, and the fact the link is broken in the list adds to the frustration. The item cannot be removed from the list either- so currently we are left with a "Form' which we cannot click through to!
Appreciate that I could embed the form on a new page which could be named as we wish, then the customer could share that link instead. However, that is adding yet more work and I'd really just like to be able to direct my customer to share the link on the form and be able to rename it. It should be quite simple.
Hubspot developers - hoping you see the value in changing this up for us please.
I know this is a relatively old post, but unfortunately, this functionality is still missing in 2024. If you use website pages/landing pages in HubSpot, I have found a workaround for it by using a HubSpot-hosted landing page and embedding the form that way. Then you can change the name of the page in the landing page settings. The page title will be whatever you name the page, and it will show up in the link preview as well if you're sharing the URL.
You can also embed the form on a page hosted outside of HubSpot and change the title on your preferred web CMS (like WordPress).
I'm surprised that this demand has been registered since 2021 and hasn't been adjusted. I think the minimum is for the form not to get lost between tabs in the browser and to have a name, just FORM doesn't mean anything.
Definitely disappointing that the new Forms editor is missing this fuctionality still. So many options for styling and layout, but set the Title? Still not possible 😓
Is it really that hard to give us the ability to set the Title field on an HTML piece of content, HubSpot?
