Warn or Pause Double opt-in Emails When Turning on LinkedIn Ad Sync for the First Time
When you turn on LinkedIn Ad Lead Sync, all leads are immediately sent an opt-in email, regardless of when they converted on your LinkedIn ads, meaning contacts who converted over a month ago may receive your generic double opt-in email seemingly out of the blue.
There are a number of ways this could be fixed when turning on the sync for the first time:
Warn the user that this will happen.
Allow us to create more than one opt-in email for unique situations like this so recipients aren't wondering if someone else entered their email address into a form.
Make it possible to shut off double opt-ins for certain forms, including LinkedIn ad forms, not just by HubSpot page.
Give the option to only sync leads that converted after a certain date so that only new leads get synced and sent an opt-in email.
