View marketing email analytics based on list membership

I work at a company that has several teams, each with a distinct list of clients. When I'm sending a mass email to all of these teams, instead of sending one email in Hubspot with all of these client lists (let's say 10 for ease of mind), I send 10 different copies of the same email to each of these 10 lists. This is massively inefficient.

 

The only reason I send it this way is that I need to provide distinct email performance reports for each team for their specific client list. If I were to send one mass email to 10 lists, there is no way for me in the current Report Builder to view the marketing email analytics for each separated list. For example, I cannot find the open rate on a single email for List A and the open rate for List B. Instead, I can only see the open rate for the whole email (including all 10 lists). 

 

Another way to do this would be to make it possible for the automated performance report that Hubspot builds for each email to be able to segment by list.

 

In addition to making this process more efficient, adding this functionality would allow Hubspot users to do their necessary segmentation via creating lists and have that segmentation be carried through to the reporting stage. I would have more insight into both the dynamics/metrics of my company's clients as a whole, as well as their dynamics/metrics on a per-team basis.

+100 to what's been shared. There are a lot of similar ideas requesting to be able to segment your marketing email performance by list membership, lifecycle stage, or any other contact/company property. Even if I couldn't do this in reports right away, it would be great to be able to filter on a specific email when I'm looking at performance. I'm submitting this idea on behalf of one of my clients who would like the ability to send their email to internal teams as well as their customers. Obviously internal teams are going to distort opens and clicks, so it would be great to send one email but segment out the data based on the different lists. I could also see this being useful for folks who are customers vs folks who are prospects.

 

I'm linking similar ideas I've upvoted here so we can combine efforts and hopefully see this come about one day.

This is much needed. We sometimes get notes in the email analytics that say things like "This particular list had a higher unsubscribe rate than your other lists." So it's clear that data is available internally. We just want to be able to assess that data ourselves, rather than relying on a HubSpot note that we can't control. Being able to see which lists are most responsive to certain types of emails will give us invualuable data that we can use for further targeting and segmenting.
