View all records that you follow

There is no ability to list out all the records that you followSince you automatically follow contacts you own, you could filter by that to see the majority of what you follow, but there isn't currently a full list.

It would be helpful to have either a filter or a section under "Your Perferences" in Settings which will list the Deals, Contacts, Tickets, etc. that you follow. The ability to unfollow records directly from this list would also be helpful.

The goal here would be an easy and effective way to manage records that you follow to reduce uneeded notifications.

We really need the ability to sort through the records we follow so we can unfollow the non-critical records.

Please implement this feature because the follow functionality is useless without this

I completely agree with the rest of the commenters that this feature is much needed.

Both to filter who we actually want to follow, but also as to not get bombarded with activity log notifications on records that we have randomly/unknowingly been made owners, and thus followers on.

I made a post about this in November.

I first reached out in August, made my post in November. It is now February, and I am STILL unfollowing records that are clogging up my notifications.

It has now cost me 6 months of unfollowing records any time they come into my notifications. Instead of being given access to a list and being able to control the users I follow in minutes, I have spent MONTHS trying to complete a task and I have NO IDEA what my progress even is at this point and how mnay more records I am going to have to unfollow.

HubSpot HAS the information, they are just refusing to share it with its users and they haven't given any reasoning for it. In the meantime, their customers are wasting their time and unable to receive notifications relevant to them, which is obviously a HUGE obstacle in productivity.

I don't know what else to do besides continue to return to the post to make clear how much of your customers' time this is wasting.

Holy smokes Cecilia,

I am 100% with you on this. It is so frustrating that there is no list. And some of these records, I don't even know how I started following them. Hubspot please help! Give us the ability to expose this data in a list somewhere or a search so we can control our notifications!

I was just desperately looking for a way to filter records that I follow only to find that it still doesn't work today. I am shocked 😱. Almost every system, no matter how old, offers the possibility to save entries as favorites. I think the follow function is great, but this basic should definitely be made possible, and urgently. Not every employee has access to lists in order to store data records there manually.

100% with you all on this one, this feature is badly needed!

I'm baaaaaaaack!!!

My original post was made in November of 2024, it is now April of 2025 and I am STILL experiencing issues with notifications from records that I NO LONGER WANT TO FOLLOW, but that I CAN'T VIEW A LIST OF OR HAVE ANY WAY OF UNFOLLOWING.

I am regularly reassured by folks at HubSpot that the ideas foum is monitored by "real people," but I'd say that either that isn't true, or those real people truly don't care about their customers because this is quite possibly the worst customer service I've even encountered.

What's made this even funnier to me is that I recently found that you are able to "favorite" dashboards.... but you can't see them anywhere. It doesn't compile them into a list or their own section or anything, just slaps a star next to it. So if you have 13 pages of dashboards and are looking for your favorites? Well boy, you best get to scrolling because you're going to have to look through ALL 13 PAGES to find your favorites, saving you exactly no time at all whatsoever!

At this point, I think the problem is just that HubSpot doesn't understand what this feature is supposed to be or how "favoriting, liking or following" things is supposed to work. You can't see a list of records that you follow, and you can't see a list of dashboards that you favorite. So I beg, what is the point of these features?

Here is another post with 98 upvotes and 35 replies, so a total of 185 upvotes on this post, 98 there = 283 upvotes and 35 comments there + 47 here for a total of 82 comments: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Bulk-follow-CRM-records/idi-p/318895

In this post, you can see my previous comment with links to other similar posts. These posts have all now been merged by HubSpot, indiciating that they are, in fact, paying attention to this demand, but choosing not to respond. It has been FIVE YEARS since this issue was initially posted.

I'm absolutely at a loss about what to do as a customer, because I am REGULARLY missing Quality of Life features like this that make my job 4 times as time consuming as it should be, and the only advice support has to offer is to post here to be ignored. Who knows if I'll even be in a position that USES HubSpot in five more years. The thought that I may outgrow the job I am doing before HubSpot manages to make a basic update like this is astounding.

@cecilia-thespot for Dashboards there is a way. It is not natively because the click on reports bring you directly to an overview and when you click on Dashboards you're in a Dashboard directly. But if you klick on "manage Dashboards" on the top, you come to a view with two sections: All Dashboards and favorites. Hope this helps you Stop searching your favorites in 13 pages of Boards. Screenshot_20250415_231648_Chrome.jpgScreenshot_20250415_231605_Chrome.jpg

Can Hubspot just verify that they are never going to allow users to bulk view, and bulk unfollow, the Contacts, Companies, or Deals that they follow?  It has been 5 years, so I assume they are choosing not to provide this to its customers for whatever reason.  The result of their lack of diligence on this issue has forced me to send all Hubspot emails to my spam folder....I now receive no emails of any type with Hubspot all because too many contacts and companies were followed in the beginning of my Hubspot relationship as I assumed it would be easy to reverse in the future.  If Hubspot tries to email me about billing, upgrades, etc. I will not see them.

Hi @GlennG,

If you are okay with not seeing any notifications for record changes, you can turn them off in your Settings > Notifications. You are looking for the setting that says "Activity on record you own or follow - Get notified when there’s new activity on a record you own or follow."

This still doesn't help if you want to continue to receive follow notifications for only relevant records, because there is not a way to widdle down "only relevant records," but at least it would help your clogged inbox a little bit.

As far as your inbox goes, I tend not to rely on emails for notifications because emails can get delayed or "lost" with spam filters, so I recommend logging in every day and looking at your notifications that way instead, anyway. This will also prevent you from going "email blind" and allow you to priotize your notifications so that maybe you are only receiving important/ high urgency notifications as emails, and all others you view in-browser.

I hope that helps at least a little!

And I'm totally with you that any response from HS would be nice. Just an acknowledgement that they missed a hugely needed feature and are working on it, or a head's up to us that it was left out intentionally so we can stop crying about it.

This would be super helpful, as people want to see only the companies/ contacts they are interested in.
