View all records that you follow

jpe2796

There is no ability to list out all the records that you followSince you automatically follow contacts you own, you could filter by that to see the majority of what you follow, but there isn't currently a full list.

It would be helpful to have either a filter or a section under "Your Perferences" in Settings which will list the Deals, Contacts, Tickets, etc. that you follow. The ability to unfollow records directly from this list would also be helpful.

The goal here would be an easy and effective way to manage records that you follow to reduce uneeded notifications.

This needs to be implemented ASAP!

I am surprised that there is no way to identify all of the contacts and companies I am following so that I can deselect.   After a while, you get so much clutter, you do not notice the ones that are more important.

Please implement 🙏

This is an absolute MUST. Somehow my staff has ended up following hundreds of records that don't pertain to them (and they didn't click follow and are not the contact owner) and we really need a way to clean this up and reduce notification clutter. Hubspot, please, please make this happen.

This would be really useful

This is an absolute must. The whole aspect of following records is incomplete without an option to see all the followed records in a "followed" list, and to bulk follow/unfollow through object lists.

I am specifically interested in the ability to create a view in HelpDesk to see all of the tickets I follow. These are typically escalations in my ecosystem and it is helpful to see activity versus waiting for activity to happen and be notified.

Thanks for your consideration!

I'm honestly shocked that HubSpot has a feature that I can't report on or get a clear picture of. I also have users that have somehow ended up following WAY too many things that they don't own. It doesn't help that changing the owner or unassigning an owner, does NOT stop the user from following the record. It is completely impractical to ask folks to go through every. single. object. record. in their portal to try and find what a user is folllowing.

Alternatively, if the notification was split so I could turn OFF notifications for things they follow but leave ON the notifications for things they own, that might also help my specific secenario.

I really think this is needed, I follow many tickets I need to keep track of, and a overview, a way to filter them is crucial for me and I imagine it is for others

This would bring a much better overview for our agents.

Any movement on this idea? I'd like to easily see the contacts and deals that I'm following.

Definately requires resolution. It's the most basic level of function and is staggering that it isn't already there. Not only can I not see who I am following, most of those whom I am following were never set by me to follow in the first place.

Similarly concerning, one can see who is following what contact. There is no reason for random collegues to be following those they have no dealings with.

100% agree this is needed.

I also agree that this feature, which will allow me to see all the contacts I am following and their updates, will be really helpful.

This feature is urgently needed and so easy to implement. I wonder why nothing is happening to help us.

Yes, agreed that this feature is urgently needed. In HS, if I navigate away from a ticket I am following (and am not the ticket owner) I currently have to manually log the ticket number for tracking purposes. I have used other ticketing platforms and they allow for you to see a full list of all the tickets you are following.

Nothing extra to add to all the previous comments: please add this functionality because there is no way to manage your tickets without.

I reached out to HubSpot support regarding this issue in August of 2024. I was told to go to the HubSpot Ideas Forum.

I am an admin and have made many records that I was made automatically to follow. I have no way of seeing these records listed anywhere. I am innundated with notifications from these records, but it causes me to be unable to see notifications that are actually relevant and necessary to see.

The only solution to this apparently is to wait until you get a notification and then unfollow the record. This has resulted in me having to regularly spend time unfollowing records. It is now November 14, 2024 and I am STILL unfollowing records to unclog my notifications 3 months after I initially reached out.

SO--- instead of being able to resolve my problem quickly and at once by viewing all records I follow, it has been wasting my time for months.

Without the ability to (AT LEAST) sort, filter, and/ or view the records we are following, this feature is essentially useless for anything except clogging your notifications. BULK updating these records would be a very close second by way of NEEDS, but at the VERY LEAST being able to sort them out and do it one by one instead of just flying blind is imperative to implement as soon as possible.

This is a well documented need within the HubSpot ideas forum. Including this post, I have compiled a list of URLs to posts requesting the same feature. I ask that everyone comment on and upvote each of these threads as well to emphasize the importance of this issue to HubSpot.
