Is there a way to automatically validate the VAT of a customer in Hubspot?
This free website (VIES VAT number validation) offers anyone in the EU the possibility to do that manually, for free. I have seen that Blendr offers to integrate this with Hubspot, but I cannot get a response from them and it does not appear straightforward.
This is a feature that any company needs, because if you do not check the VAT of a client and you do cross-border transactions, you are exposing yourself to possibly having to pay the VAT out of your profit, if the number was wrong. And it should be done automatically.
Can someone create a simple integration between Hubspot and VIES?
