Using Hidden and/or enriched (shortened) fields in Logic rules of the new form builder
Problem: In the new Form builder, it is NOT POSSIBLE to:
Create a hidden field and have that enriched (shortened by Breeze); or
Use a Breeze enriched field in the Logic tool; or
Use a hidden field in the Logic tool.
Why this is important:Without the ability to use hidden and/or enriched fields in Logic means those form fields need to be visible for a User to fill themselves...making the form longer and negating a lot of the power of form shortening(enriching).
Whereas, if Breeze AI could enrich a field (with form shortening), while also allowing the field to be hidden, plus makingbothshortenedand/orhidden fields available in Logic steps then the form can remain short while also allowing me, as the admin, to create highly targeted forms. For example, I could add the following hidden fields that would also be enriched (shortened by Breeze)
Number of Employees
Annual revenue
Country
With that information provided by Breeze, I can then use the Logic function to set Number of Employees to be >= to "X",AND; Annual revenue >= "Y"AND; Country to be any of "A, B or C". THEN Show a meeting link, Hubspot page, external link, etc.
For any other Users outside of our ICP, I could set to show fields if I want to ask for more information to see if they qualify, or send them to a different page after completing the form.
Why it doesn't work now: In order to use the Logic tool, I can't use hidden and/or enriched fields, this means I have to make the form longer and potentially ask for more information than I want to ask the User in order to route them correctly. So it defeats the purpose of form shortening/enriching with Breeze, and reduces the effectiveness and power of the Logic tool.
Yes! I thought the whole idea of enrichment and form shortening is not to ask e.g. for the country but still use it for assignments and meeting links in the form logic.
