Use Meetings without creating new contacts

Some of our staff would like to be able to use the Meetings tool, but wish to not create new contact records for those who schedule a meeting. Would be great to have this as an option in user settings - have Meetings update existing contact records, but not create new ones.

I would laso like to create meeting without creating new contacts.  It's not always necessary.  Maybe there could be two options?
