In short, I want to be able to use the invoice properties as triggers in a workflow to copy them to another property.
HubSpot stores all of my invoices synced over from Quickbooks. But from what I can tell there is no way to work with that data. You can only view it. HubSpot says:
"When the QuickBooks Online integration is installed, you can create workflows using the new invoice deal properties listed below."
But that's not really true. After speaking with support, there's no way to work with that data in a workflow. I need to access the invoice number in a workflow and copy it to a contact property.
Completely agree! It's not super useful to have to go look at invoices and open them to see who they are associated with. Not to mention that there is no way to automatically associate an invoice with a Contact or a Deal. Essentially the invoice feature is useless because I can't access the data from it automatically. We have thousands of invoices which makes manually associating them impossible to keep up with. This seems like a fairly straightforward fix.
I hope this gets some attention. We have integrated Xero and have managed to get workflows triggering based on the status of the invoice but after the trigger is met there is no way to set or update invoice properties in workflows. This must be done manually and is extremely time-consuming to the point where it almost defeats the purpose of having the integration in the first place.
