Use Deal Properties in Forms

Hi everyone,

Thank you for the time you’ve taken to submit, vote, and share your thoughts on this idea over the past months (and for some of you, years). I know this request has seen a few different updates along the way, and I appreciate your patience throughout that journey.

My name is Jenny, and I’m the new Product Manager for Forms & CTAs.

I’ve recently taken ownership of this area, and I want to be upfront about where things stand.

We’re officially kicking off work on this next week, and this functionality is now on our roadmap.
The first phase will be a structured investigation into the feasibility and scope of this functionality. This will include:

• Reviewing the technical approach and constraints

• Mapping out core use cases 

• Assessing scope, effort, and potential paths forward

Most of this investigation work will take place early in the new year. Once that wraps, we’ll be in a position to make informed decisions and move into build. Our goal is to deliver this in the coming months, and I’ll keep you updated as we progress toward that.

While I’m not able to provide a timeline right now, I want to avoid setting expectations prematurely.

What I can commit to is transparency - I’ll share updates once this investigation phase concludes so you will not be left wondering.

Support for deal properties in forms is definitely something we want to look into. But for now, we are not actively looking into building this due to other priorities. We will review this again later this year.

I work with a Real Estate (Manufactured Housing) company in which deals need to be created and updated vis user input (i.e. Forms) for things like loan collateral, Brokerage sales, etc.

Would love to see this feature soon!

This is a HUGE hangup for us. We've tried mapping fields via contact properties, but this is very messy and confusing for our users.

Is there an updated ETA for this feature?

We're implementing this by creating a dummy Company and then transferring to a Deal, which is a waste ot time and effort.

It seems strange and arbitrary that Deal properties are excluded from forms when Contacts, Companies and Tickets are included.

Please HubSpot, we need this available.  We can see access to custom object properties, contacts, companies and tickets in forms, but can't understand why Deals and Quotes are not there?  This is quite limiting. Would love to hear more about the plans as the last comments were in April this year? Any chance it is part of the Inbound releases?

Ditto! I now have duplicate properties and it's nuts that I need customers to fill out a form (apply) with the information that I need specifically for a deal... lots of manual work and duplication
