Thank you for the time you’ve taken to submit, vote, and share your thoughts on this idea over the past months (and for some of you, years). I know this request has seen a few different updates along the way, and I appreciate your patience throughout that journey.
My name is Jenny, and I’m the new Product Manager for Forms & CTAs.
I’ve recently taken ownership of this area, and I want to be upfront about where things stand.
We’re officially kicking off work on this next week, and this functionality is now on our roadmap. The first phase will be a structured investigation into the feasibility and scope of this functionality. This will include:
Reviewing the technical approach and constraints
Mapping out core use cases
Assessing scope, effort, and potential paths forward
Most of this investigation work will take place early in the new year. Once that wraps, we’ll be in a position to make informed decisions and move into build. Our goal is to deliver this in the coming months, and I’ll keep you updated as we progress toward that.
While I’m not able to provide a timeline right now, I want to avoid setting expectations prematurely.
What I can commit to is transparency - I’ll share updates once this investigation phase concludes so you will not be left wondering.
Thank you again for your patience and for continuing to advocate for this functionality.
I hear you, and my goal is to ensure this request receives a thoughtful and thorough evaluation.
I’ll keep this thread updated as we make progress.
If you have any questions or concerns in the interim, feel free to reach out to me via DM.
For anything that would benefit the full group, please continue to use this thread - it helps us keep context in one place.

Support for deal properties in forms is definitely something we want to look into. But for now, we are not actively looking into building this due to other priorities. We will review this again later this year.
Upvote! I want to create a form for my customers and incorporate information from their Deal. For example, sometimes we are missing information to take customer to the next step. I would like to use Workflows, have a trigger for missing Deal information, and then sends the customer an appropriate form to fill Deal Properties.
From a Sales perspective, it seems pretty obvious that you'd want to collect information on a potential Deal from your prospects. I would like to send a simple questionnaire with a couple of pre-screening or pre-qualifying questions to my prospects before a call to collect information upfront and make the meeting (and my sales efforts) more efficient and effective.
I very much support having this feature and was surprised that it wasn't available! I am trying to create a landing page with potential service offerings that would be deal properties for prospective clients to fill out. We would use that information in discussions and also help give us an indication of future offerings. It is very disappointing that we can't do this.
Insanity that I still have to create workflows just to get a form submission to create a deal, INSANE. Takes HOURS of work to get it done for every new client I'm onboarding. Wild. What's the market cap of HubSpot again that they can't give us one dev to get this done?
This is one more person coming here to confirm that we indeed can't have deal properties in forms. This blocks critical business automation that honestly should already be available since its been asked for at least 5 years and has been "In review" for *2 years*. 2! I see you, Hubspot, making a ton of other product updates all the time that aren't nearly as impactful. Please enable this feature.
