Update chat message according to current time instead of page load time
Hello product team,
We utilize the chat tool on one of our websites, with business hours designated on certain days with a specific time range (9a - 6p). Outside of business hours, an away message is displayed.
We are finding that the away message only appears if our clients access our site outside of business hours. For instance, if a client hits our site at 5:45p and remains there until 6:10p, they will NOT see the away message and instead see the message that appears during business hours. Regardless of when the user accesses our site or opens a chat window, the away message should always appear after 6p.
This is causing clients frustration, believing someone is available and online after 6p.
