Hi, I have a question about Files in HubSpot. There are SO many files Unused on any pages and I'm going to archive them eventually. But it takes too long to figure out which file is used or not. (Currently I click each file and see the detail but it takes too long...) Is there any good/quick way to see if each file (image, pdf, video etc) is used or not? Thank you for your help!
Since the naming of files has also been shown as an SEO error with cryptic URLs in the Hubspot SEO tool, it is definitely time to improve the functions of the file manager in Hubspot. Managing files costs marketers a lot of time and is absolutely annoying. This need should be addressed asap.
As a marketer I want to keep the file directory as clean as possible. This is very difficult right now, because I have to click on each file to check if it is used somewhere or not. I hope this problem will be solved soon
You know what would be a really easy fix for this? A list of ALL files (including files in folders and subfolders) with the following columns:
Name, URL Visibility, Used in, File size, Folder name, date uploaded, date last updated
If you could sort by each column, you would be able to identify items that are used in zero locations to delete them; you can identify large items and decide to optimize them or delete them and identify old items that haven't been updated in a while.
It would be terrific to have the same preview pane from files so you can look at the image and rename it right there to add tags that you need to find assets that were uploaded with generic names.
I think that would be a very easy-to-implement workaround and would help many of us to review the file chaos that compiles when multiple users upload files.
