I would like to see the option to unpublish a form and or to set a limit to the submissions. For example I would like to set a limit of 100 submissions due to a webinar subscription.

Edit: Day 1352 – Still no option to unpublish a form or cap webinar sign-ups. We're considering switching to smoke signals for faster results! 😂
Come on, tech wizards, let's make this happen before we're sending messages via carrier pigeons!
I’m Ian, the Product Manager for HubSpot’s Forms tool.
Thank you all for taking the time to submit, upvote, and comment on this Idea. I'm happy to report that this Idea is now In Planning! This means that our engineers are actively building this feature.
The product development process is always filled with unexpected bumps and hurdles, so I can't give a timeline, but I am confident in saying we'll deliver this feature as soon as possible.
All updates will be relayed on this thread, so stay tuned!
I reached out to support recently about unpublishing/archiving some old forms and this still isn't an available feature?! I obviously don't want to delete them because there are old submissions, but it's ridiculous to have them in a list of published forms, and then to need to filter them out of any reporting. Come on, HubSpot. This should be an easy one.
I would love to be able to add a message to the form that says something like 'This form is no longer taking new submissions.' Sometimes, when we manage a limited-time offer or registration and we email our database about it, we get submissions even after the offer is over.
Of course, I can use the thank-you message to let people know, but by that time they put in the effort to submit the form, so it's not a fantastic UX for them.
9 months for a feature in development with no updates is kinda long. Any ETAs or news? I'm somewhat new to hubspot, but I cant believe that this is not already an option.
I am cleaning up the instance of the company I just joined, we also got the operations pro hub that is supposed to help with Data Quality and am trying to clear any unused properties, forms, emails etc. The inability to unpublish forms is making it very difficult for me to archive properties or disable properties that might have been useful at a time but no longer. Obviously, I dont want to delete the related data, but I dont want it visible or usable anymore. Can we have any kind of update here?
So glad to see this is in planning, but crossing my fingers we get this functionality before the end of the year! Surprised this doesn't exist already for forms, especially when this exists for other types of assets. As others have said, deleting old forms isn't an option as we don't want to lose submission data but we're left with an endless list of inactive forms to filter out of reporting, to sift through when adding forms for a landing page, etc. After 11 months "in planning" hoping this is close to launch!
Sometimes it's just easiest and fastest to put the URL of the form directly in the button on a Marketing Email instead of using a Landing Page. For registration forms, when the registration limit is reached, there needs to be another fall back page, like a Landing Page or something. Some page without a button.
I asked for an update since this idea has now been in planning stage for almost a year and was told some updates may take up to 3 years and there's no way to get a status update other than subscribing 😞 Additionally, if you delete the form, you lose the data. So we won't be able to reference who submitted to what, which is why so many are hesitant to just delete a form. Would love for this to be escalated considering how many webinars or other events we're inevitably going to need forms for within 3 years.
