Currently, there is no way for error messages to be triggered upon submit. This is not a setting that can be adjusted in forms. Unfortunately it can cause some unfortunate interactions with other JavaScript running on forms, like when using an enrichment solution, for instance.
The request is to add a configuration option in forms to show validation error messages as they are now, or only upon Submit button press/tap.
