Honestly I agree with this. The amount of times that someone wanted to speak to someone else and I had to tell them that they would call them right back since we can't transfer has been to many to count and it taks up to much effort and if i was a costumer I'd be annyoed if someone told me this
Is there any update on this? The inability to not transfer calls to external numbers or calls at all hurts sales staff and business. It's been over a year. Is there any update on this?
This would be awesome... But I cant believe they haven't already got it or thought of it, as it would be a very common need in most decent size businesses...
This would be a really good functionality. I work with a number of companies who are currently using external calling apps and this is the 1 barrier that prevents them from moving into HubSpot Calling as this is for them the key functionality due to the sales environment.

We were excited about transitioning our entire outbound sales team to HubSpot's calling interface. We were ready to subscribe to the paid plan given our team's size and substantial call minutes requirement. BUT then we found out that HubSpot lacks the ability to transfer calls, among HubSpot users or from 800 numbers, which makes its functionality ineffective for our business. With voicemail drop and round robin features on the roadmap for 2024, it would be GREAT to see HubSpot Calling faciliate live transfers!
In definite need of the ability to transfer calls. Honestly, if I had known that we could not transfer calls I would of went with a different platform. This is a basic element of business. Without this feature it aggervates our customers. What worries me is that it's been over two years since the start of this thread and Hubspot still hasn't implemented this in their system. Seriously, considering moving to Microsoft CRM.
Our company uses Aloware, which integrates well with it. It is sad that HubSpot has not taken accountability and action to put this transfer in place. Thank you all for the comments and HUBSPOT, GET THIS IMPLEMENTED and please, let me get a cut. Thanks to all!
Yes, I can transfer, let's say a Spanish speaking client that calls in to one of our bilingual employees and that employee can see the client's information. It is easier to copy and paste the number to pull the lead up. If you are using a power dialer to make calls from a list, then you can make those calls in Aloware and see the HubSpot screen and change the lead status or update information as needed
