Track the sequence status of the contacts enrolled in email sequences on a contact property

Currently data generated from the email sequences are poorly integrated with the contact properties. For instance, the status of contacts in a sequence isn't stored on a contact property. This is an issue because the status can't always be determined from other information populated on the contact properties. For instance, the "Bounce" status can't be inferred because the only property updated is "Last sequence ended date" which can be updated by several other status such as "sequence ended" or "replied". Currently, the only way to populate the "Bounce" status on contacts from a sequence is by manually selecting and updating a field for all bounced contacts. This isn't a viable option long term especially when the information needs to be populated in real-time.

A great solution would be for Hubspot to automatically populate on a contact property the "recent email sequence status" from the sequence status.

Completely agree. It would be easy so a general user to set up an Active List to see all contacts that were enrolled in a particular sequence and that didn't respond. They could then re-enroll them in another one.

That's the current issue I am working on. Ideally, I could make a workflow that creates a static list for each sequence that goes out and have it list every contact that didn't respond.
