Timeline Sync Options & Exclusions

Our company recently set up a timeline sync between Salesforce and Hubspot to show which forms have been submitted and which marketing emails were sent. Unfortunately, these timeline activities are syncing into Saleforce as tasks for both the individual contact AND the company (or "account" in Salesforce). 

 

Please look into offering more options/exclusions for timeline syncs.

It would be more helpful if the Hubspot Timeline would be sync as Activity History in Salesforce instead of Task. 

Example: If someone receives an email or interacts with a campaign, it should be more helpful to be synced in SF as Activity history because it is not a Task, clearly.

Kind of interesting - I have a request from my Salesforce Client to make the Hubspot activities viewable seperately from the Salesforce user related tasks. Good to see that I am not the only one thinking about this!

 

I will build them an automation inside of Saleforce to handle it.
