The Business Card Scanner shoud also import the phone number as it is one of the most important field for our sales team. Currently only the mobile phone number is imported.

I was thinking the same thing! Does anyone know how to change it so that it is a property that is automatically included? Right now I'm importing hundreds of business cards and it is taking forever to go in and add the other phone number every time

@JMcOmber - I just contacted HS support about this.

There is no way to change which properites the BC scanner looks for then populates. They're all locked. This is a huge shame becuase 99% of B2B companies will be looking at corporate business cards, where their office line is listed. And we usually only show "phone number" in the left side panel contact info. Mobile phone number is often hidden. Kind of reduces the use of the BC scanner if you need to go in and re-enter the info into the contact. Granted, it's still faster then manually entering everything, but also frustrating becuase it seems like a very easy and essential fix, and this feature request is a year old.

If you do NOT use "mobile phone number" at all, this is a work around suggested by HS support:

as a workaround, you can create a contact based workflow that will say "if mobile phone number is known, then copy that number to the phone number property"

If you DO use mobile phone number as a separate category to phone number, do not do this - it will then erase the business line you have in "phone number" and replace it with the mobile line when mobile phone number is updated.

I suppose you could also have mobile phone number be displayed as one of the properties in the contact info side panel, if that works for you.
