Task created by workflow with ticket enrolment trigger defaults to landing on a different record

I have created a workflow to automate the creation of tasks related to new tickets, so that we can use the Start Tasks feature across the team to improve efficiency. It also contains a few features such as automatic assignment, filtering spam tickets etc. 

 

However the ticket is not the default record that the task opens you to when you open the ticket whether by clicking on it in your task list, or through the start tasks feature, and according to Hubspot support, there is no way to override this without removing the association defaults.

 

Without a way to add associations after the initial task creation in the workflow this leaves us with the option of having the issue, or having to manually add to associations back in after the fact. Either way is non-optimal.

 

I suggest that when creating tasks, whether manually or automatically, there needs to be an option for what record you want the task to open for you, or at the very least defaults to the enrolment trigger instead of the contact record. In the event of a task assigned to triage a ticket, you want the ticket to be the record opened, not the contact or company.
