Why can't tasks be associated with email (similar to contact, company, or ticket)?
Ex: I receive an email from the company to take certain training. I want to create a task for it and associate it with this email so that I can get all other details from that email itself (ex - link to that training, course id, etc.). Currently, I can't create a task and associate it with such emails.
Google allows you to do so and it's very convenient.
I had the same issue. I get a request to do something from my manager and the email contains details that I need to complete the task. If I can't add a task for myself and link it to that email, then I've got to use another tool to manage my to-do list so now, Hubspot is not providing that central point of information that we hoped it would 🙁
This would be a very important feature for us to have to be able to assign an action to our service team and then have the record back to the initial call or email. It would also be good to add comments to emails similar to what can be done for other activities.
