I’ve set up my sales goals on revenue which I’m happy with so far and have a nice dashboard to follow. However I would like to extract the monthly or total goal value into another field. I’m planning to take that field and a calculation field to multiply with a factor of say 2x (if we assume 50% closing rate once leads are at the bottom of the funnel) to give me a “pipeline target” field. Then I can track my sales team’s weighted pipeline against that pipeline target in order to increase the probability of them not falling short of their targets end of year. The weighted values already deflates the pipeline by early stages, but is still has some uncertainty attached to it so tracking against a bottom funnel closing rate factor will be helpful.
I'm including here's a summary of feedback from the friendly support team at HS in hopes it clarfies my query:

"As I understood, you would need to quantify a “pipeline target” field that helps you identify how much you need to target for so you can achieve your real goal (which is why you would multiply by 2). If that is the case, I confirm this is not feasible at the moment.. [...] At the moment to pull goals you need to use the associated object, deals, the system won't report just on goals [...]. To do what you require we would need to record goals similar to properties so you could make a "calculated custom field" which uses goals and multiply x2, but at the moment custom fields (properties) are associated to objects and goals is not a property included there which is why I am afraid this wouldn't be feasible. Much appreciate if this would be picked up and I think helpful for anyone working with pipelies to make sure the track the weighted value of the pipeline against a set target. I'm sure there's lot of different philosophy on this, but to me and the team it would be very helpful.
