Landing pages are not automatically submitted the XML sitemap, in constrast to blog and website pages. We can submit the page to the sitemap manually in Settings > Website > Pages. However I think it would be a nice option to be able to indicate that you would like the page adding to the sitemap from the page settings tab.
It would be convenient to have a checkbox that allows us to control if a landing page is added to the sitemap. We have some landing pages that we don't want to be publicized so a noindex, nofollow, and sitemap exclusion is preferred. On the other hand, we have some landing pages that we do want to be indexed, followed, and included in the sitemap. I think an 'include in sitemap' option in the landing page's settings would very convenient.
