Stop automatically recording contact and email thread when an email is received or sent
Hubspot (when linked to Gmail) records a contact when an email is generated or received. This should not happen and i believe means companies are infringing on GDPR.
In order for this not to happen I have to either turn off email tracking before I send an email or manually add them to a blocked email section so an email thread will only be visible to me.
A new contact should not be created automatically and the thread recorded. This means that if i send sensitive information to someone ( and i dont follow your current process ) that information can be seen by anyone in my company.
Hubspot should only record an email thread if the contact is already in the system.
