After assigning a Lead to a HS Sales User, I'd like to start a Sequence on their behalf, such that the email in the sequence has the FROM email of the HS Sales User, not me (the initator of the sequence).
+1 for this too, we need to be able to support our sales teams with the power of HubSpot sequencing, but this restriction is holding us back. Allocating the sender to sales staff is a feature we can see soon?
Not being able to do this is a huge bottleneck in the automation process. We have a diverse and global team and having to push and prod across timelines to get them to enroll a list is the opposite of a streamlined outreach process.
This is a standard feature in every other sales enablement platform. HubSpot, waht are you doing?
The workflow workaround is terrible, because if any contacts fail at the enrollment step (e.g., due to a global bounce), they disappear into the workflow error log, which does not allow exports. I have to manually add each and every record to a static list so that the sales side can process them (e.g., search for another contact at the firm, confirm contact info, etc.). I spent an hour yesterday doing just that. Not a productive use of my time. If the contacts could be enrolled directly in the sequence on the sales person's behalf, the fails would go into the error log, where they can be exported and processed—and our reporting looks accurate.
I feel like I'm missing something, how is someone in a sales support role supposed to handoff a lead to a salesperson, if they can't enroll them in sequence?

At the very least someone who is a super admin should be able to send emails from other users. I initiate emails on behalf of our sales team to coordinate calls and follow-ups. I NEED this! We are a small business and work very lean; I need them doing as much as possible in other areas. The marketing hub is not always the answer, the CRM should have this capability as well.

The community needs an update on this please, you're getting multiple comments and upvotes/month for this issue. This is holding our team back and encouraging our leadership to consider alternative CRM solutions. When can we expect to see this problem resolved?
Not having this feature gates features that make it really hard for small companies to adopt and use hubspot. This can be solved, but only at the Hubspot Enterprise tier, which includes a bunch of stuff that a small company doesn't actually need.
Here is a reasonable workflow example:
We go to an event. We connected with 200 people that we told we would follow up with directly. We upload the names into Hubspot and now have a list. We want to use a sequence to assign someone to
Step 1. Call them
Step 2. Send a manual follow-up email
Step 3. Send an auto email bump
Step 4. A task to disposition them.
We want these to automatically land in the task queue of one of 3 sales reps. Right now, we need each sales rep to manually go find the leads and sequence them, RATHER than having the ability to sequence all the leads based on ownership from a single list.
This isn't enterprise-level functionality. This is small business stuff.

Upvoted this idea in 2019 -- I've since moved on to a different company and still encountering the same issues. Seriously though - How has this not yet been implemented???
So based on @hhiggins response - is it my understanding that this idea has been demoted? Telling us why would be transparency. This has ideas has been literally been begged for since 2019. Can HubSpot provide a reason why this hasn't moved on your product roadmap? It seems pretty easy to open this feature up to non-enterprise users. An updated response from HubSpot would be appreciated.
