Spark email client + HubSpot integration - we need this!

Some of my team members use Spark and they really love it. I want them to be able to benefit from the same kind of advantages that the Gmail / Outlook add-ons, but not force them to switch! Please make an integration!

Hi everyone! My name is Hallie, and I'm an Associate Program Manager on our CXM Team here at HubSpot. I wanted to provide an update from our product team around this request.

At this time, it is being marked as 'Not Currently Planned' because it's not on the roadmap over the upcoming quarters. Please continue to leave feedback around any use cases for this if you would find this beneficial, because our product teams are still monitoring this request. 

With that said, I wanted to highlight an option a few other users have shared in comments about an alternative solution for using Spark email. Per their documentation, you can set up auto-BCC using the BCC address in your HubSpot account to log emails you send in HubSpot. While it's not a direct integration with HubSpot, it is an option that Spark has implemented that can help you log your emails on CRM records. I hope this is helpful in the meantime!

Would love this. Trying to figure out how to forward emails incoming and outgoing from Gmail while using Spark is a royal pain in the **bleep**.

I can BCC for outbound but can't figure out how to do the forward as Google needs a verification code but that email never makes it into hubspot.

You can do this by, (Log the emails that you send via spark email) 

On your Google workspace Admin dashboard, go to Routing settings under gmail. There add a routing rule as,

- Outbound & Internal Sending
- Modify msg --> Headers --> Add Add X-Gm-Original-To header

- Add more recipients - Add the BCC address (You can find it here, hubspot settings --> Objects > Activities.)

- Show options --> Only affect specific envelope senders --> Add the email sending users email address.

End users don’t have access to Google Workspace Admin dashboard, so we need to rely on an existing Spark integration.

You can already have a BCC email address automatically added to every outgoing email... this is not a problem (Settings > Accounts > Composing > Automatically BCC).

The problem is getting the tracking code inserted into the outbound emails, so we can get opens and other data. A nice bonus would be having some panel in the Spark client, so you can see the Hubspot data related to the email you're looking at, like the Outlook add-in.
