Sort task by not completed in deal or contact area.
When Im inside a deal. and click on the tasks tab. The tasks come up in order that they were created. Rather than what is still outstanding.
which means when working on a particular deal you may miss and old task that you need to complete but is lost as you need to scrool down so far to find it
Ie when orking on 1 deal. I may end up calling the clients and asking them for outstanding documents that they need to send us. While I hhave them on the phone it would be handy to be able to hit onthe tasks tab and check if there is anything else i need for them a the same time.
I use a filter to check progress on inbound leads and in many cases, although tasks have been set and the date is showing, on further investigation those tasks have not been completed (although the date would suggest an action has taken place) - this also applies to tasks set for the future.
It would make life a lot easier if the 'Task status' which is available in Reporting was available in filters, this way I could quickly identify those tasks which were being ignored without having to enter each deal record, so simply adding 'Task completed' Yes / No, or highlight in red all incomplete tasks??
Any chances of this being developed down the line?
I think it would be best to have tasks populate by due date (so overdue tasks would appear first) to prevent them from being missed. Or at the very least to have a setting or option of which way to view them so each person could personalize their activity feed.
