We're trying to use HubSpot social analytics to look at how we're doing. However, whoever built the HubSpot reporting analytics seems to have no experience in social networking. To the best of my knowledge (and to the knowledge of HS support) there is no way to look at trends through time. When analyzing social network success, you want to see whether your audience, impressions and engagement is growing or not. I looked into custom reports to see if I could create a custom line graph, but you cannot design custom reports for social.
Why are there no trending graphs in social analytics and why can you not create custom reports for social data? This is a monstrous roadblock for us and pretty much renders HubSpot's social analytics component useless. We cannot make any strategic decisions based on the current reports HS offers.
We have the same problem. At this point it looks like we have downgraded from our previous lead automation tool. We want to see social media trands over months to see what campaigns drives the most leads (Facebook, Linkedin, Instogram ???)
