Slack integration to send attachments when replying to a chat is not working.
Currently, I see attachment (picture or file) in Thread into Slack, but it doesn`t deliver to the user in the chat. It`s very inconvenient to switch to the web version of HubSpot (conversation inbox) and attach the file there.
We need to improve the integration with slack to send attachments along with the message flow. Our sales and support teams really need this improvement
Yeah, this feels like a bug. At a minimum, it would be nice to see that an attachment was uploaded from the hubspot chat widget, even if the image isn't sent
hubspot really is a jack of all trades, master of none. Switching from signalZen with it's excellent slack integration this feels like a big downgrade. Currently there are the following features simply missing when using hubspot live chat via slack:
Attachments do not work at all
when sending an attachment from slack: customers in the live chat receive a message with "This message has no content"
when receiving a message in slack from live chat with an attachment there simply is no message at all. not even a "hey, check this message in the inbox, there is an attachment"…
currently writing status does not work. the three dots indicating that the service agent is typing only show up when composing a message in the inbox in hubspot, not in slack
the position of the widget can only be set globally, not per-widget?
it is not possible to only show the first names of the agents, instead of the full names or changing all names to be one person/brand?
