Currently we can not tell WHY people unsubscribe. There is no report to generate about the why. MaillChimp had that feature.
Feature request is to add a drop down with reasons unbsubscribers can pick from as soon as they hit the unsubscribe link from the email's footer. There should be no reason why they need to hit a custom link to go to a different page to explain why they unsubscribed.
Many other platforms have this functionality available. It is shocking to know that the leading automation platform has not yet developed this functionality. Please add this to the development plan for 2024.
We would like the ability to add a question after someone unsubscribes so we can understand why they unsubscribe. From my understanding, there is not a way to do this without code.
As @averyguest suggests, they would like this added after the unsubscribe. Because of the changes with Google and Yahoo this year and the requirement for one-click unsubscribes, perhaps this enhancement request would be best placed along with the unsubscribe confirmation. In order to optimize submissions, a single-select or multi-select checkbox field would be ideal. It would be helpfull as well to have controll over the confirmation message upon submission of the unsubscribe reason.
