An improvement to the deal creation process would be to allow for the selection of a Default pipeline. Currently, the oldest pipeline in the portal is automatically set as the Default, which can only be changed by deleting all older pipelines. By providing the option to select a more commonly used pipeline, it would streamline the process of creating deals in the appropriate pipeline.
I couldn't agree more. I am new to the organisation and new to hubspot. I noticed that what was showing on hubspot did not reflect what the most common pipeline being used was and when I investigated further found that many users are progressing without changing the default pipeline hence the error in our reporting. Very frustrating way to handle a default setting as normal practice is for business offerings to evovle as their business evolves.
