Marketing contacts can only be set through the web at this time. It'll be helpful if the API is built to set marketing contacts through mobile apps too!
This is needed. Without option to set contacts as marketings contacts it is quite useless for adding contacts since one also must use web client in addition.
I completely agree. When BD Managers are travelling, the HubSpot App is great for uploading new contacts quickly and easily, but without the option to set the contact as a marketing contact, we are not growing our mailing database/marketing hub. As not all contacts should be added as Marketing contacts, we cannot create a workflow which triggers all contacts created via HS to be ticked as Marketing contacts - this is a huge pain point for us!
