I wanted to bring to your attention an issue we've encountered with the Hubspot Single line text fields. They currently allow up to 65,535 characters, which can cause errors in Salesforce because Salesforce text fields only accept up to 255 characters.
While we do have the option to limit the characters in the global setting of fields, I was unable to update it for the first name and last name fields as they are Hubspot contact fields and cannot be edited.
We believe it would be helpful to have this feature available at the form level as well.
We should be able to limit the number of characters for both first and last name fields. This creates data errors in the entire CRM when used in forms and chats as prospects could add a sentence instead of a name. Can Hubspot update this setting to limit the characters?
