We're having issues with giving permissions for team owned contacts. Our company is quickly expanding and we're increasing the number of teams we have. If the person set to own all the contacts changes team, all the contacts need to be reassigned to someone else in the correct team. So being able to assign them to a team rather than user would help.
We need that too - having a contact assigned to only one user is not feasible for our large organisation. A contact and/or company might be across 4 of our BUs and therefore being able to assign to a team or multiple teams would work. We could create custom properties, but that would really clog up the Properties area with so many custom properties to assign a contact to various owners. Perhaps the opportunity to have an original owner and then additional team owners?
Currently, with only one owner assigned the other BUs can't see the contact/company or communicate with them.
