Set Workflow enrollment windows by day of week and time of day

I think it would be incredibly helpful to set enrollment for a particular workflow to only occur during a particular window of time, such as Friday at 5 PM through Monday at 8 AM.

This would help marketing, sales, and support accurately respond to leads and requests that come in during times that response times may be delayed or different from the norm, such as on the weekend. This would save clients a lot of confusion when they submit and inquiry or request and do not hear back in the time frame they would normally expect.

I currently have a need to send clients a particular email if they reach out during the week, and a different email during the weekend to let them know we are closed and will respond to their request on Monday. The best way I could see this working is to have one workflow enroll contacts from Monday at 8 AM to Friday at 4:59 PM, and a second workflow that enrolls contacts from Friday at 5 PM through Monday at 7:59 AM. The enrollment trigger I am using is a form submission and I still want some other actions to occur after the email is sent (create a deal, send a slack notification, etc.).

I am also facing similar issue.

I have a contact form and want to forward the contact requests based on time zone.

if some one requested in IST time zone then we should send to Indian support team

if some one requested in EST time zone the we should send to US support team

if some one requested in AEST time zone the we should send to Australia support team

Yes we need this too!
My reps want to be assigned by day of the week, no matter how much I tell them it isn't standard or doable with automation.

So I tried having a workflow for each rep that only executes on the day that sales person is active but without limiting the enrollment to a day of the week, it just reenrolls the lead in every workflow and runs them as the day or time changes. So I've been using the Unenrollment and Suppression tab to unenroll them from the other unapplicable worklfows, but that doesn't stop the initial enrollement of those other wokflows and those all have unenrollment rules that unenrolls them from the appropriate workflow and then none of them are completed. It's driving me crazy. Sorry for the ramble. A fix to this or an option to the roating assignment feature would just make my life a lot easier.

Anyone ever found a solution for this?

@lukecro we fashioned a work around. It took a lot of fiddling and more separate automations than I wanted it but it worked!

Scheduling workflow enrollment would be an amazing feature to have. Workflows already have options to schedule actions on certain days and times, so it would make sense to have the option to only enroll during timeframes as well!

Having to manually change who is assigned each day, 7 days a week is tedious and a waste of time. Plus, every time someone goes into the workflow there is a chance that an error could be made.
