It would be incredibly helpful to have the ability to set a line item property in a workflow using the "Set property value". Currently, "Line Item" is not an option.
This would help us as we have revenue reporting fields on our line items/products that we'll now have to manually set.
Yes, please! Line item properties can be used to trigger workflows, so why can't we have access to those data ojbects in the workflow action? Our company needs to be able to copy line item properties to a custom deal property. Specifically, product name and quantity. Please make this happen!
I agree, the ability to set properties on line items within workflows seems very basic, and should be considered, especially if HubSpot wants to compete with other CRM offerings that have much more robust funcionality in this area.
+1 for line item implementation to a workflow. We need to calculate commissions and this info would make our life easier if the line item one-time info can be displayed in a property.
Hard agree, it is incredible that Line Items cannot currently be edited via workflow. I recently changed a property within a product and had to manually remove the old line items containing that product to readd that product so it could pick up the change. This could, and should, have been easily done via an update property workflow.

This is great news! Calcualted properties would be even better but this is a start. How long do these things normally take before are launched in Beta?
@CAdams21 Great question! There isn't a specific timeline for how long something is in each stage, I'm afraid, because it ultimately depends on how big of a lift building out a feature takes. However, as soon as there are any updates around a beta being available, we'll update this post right away to let you all know. 😊
@hhiggins Exciting update! Will the ability to copy line items from a previous deal be included in this roadmap? That is our biggest need, as renewal deals we have created in workflows currently have to be set manually for deals that should be auto-renewable.
