I would love to be able to add in the new association labels using a workflow - rather than needing to do this manually.
this would enable businesses who have contact A who makes a booking and Contacts B, C, D etc who attend a course or an event flagged as attendees. so a business knows which are valuable contacts.
It would also be helpful to be able to use a workflow to send different communications to clients based on their association tag.
I'm confused, is this feature available yet or not? I can't seem to find a way of setting the association label when I create a record in a workflow and want to associate it to the enrolled record. This feature would be extremely helpful! Would really prefer to avoid using Zapier to achieve it.
@zeke is there an update on this? I would love to automatically assign an association label based on a deal property, but I don't see a way to do this, but looks like it was in the works last year?
This functionality would make our lives so much easier. The ability to assign association labels via workflow or automation would be incredibly helpful!!
+1 at the very least, when creating an object right then and there, in the workflow if another object (i.e. create deal from contact) have the option to associate with label (i.e. "customer").
Adding to the chain - this feature would be extremely valuable and it's very limiting to have to ask teams to manually change the label on records as it is an easily forgotten step.
I had to make a workflow that notifies me when a new business is created so I can put the association label on it and thus not depend on the sales representatives to place it 😞 I add myself to this request!
That's fantastic news! My company has an indication program that will be significantly affected by this development. The workflows will be streamlined, making processes simpler, and our database will express its gratitude.
I agree, an update would be wonderful to get. This is right up there with automatic or forced phone number validation in features that are awesome but never quite made it to the finish line in terms of usability.
Am I imagining this or do we now have to associate a Parent or Child Label now when associating a 'company' to a Company Record? The workflow is really necessary if that is the case...though I'd have to think hard on what the triggers would be. Actually we do have a 'building type' custom property that I think could be used as a trigger.
Though I think we will like that ability to create 'paired labels' for Company records which seems to be a new functionality. Taht may allow us to create a deeper hierarchy of associated cmpanies (than just parent/child). We have corporate offices (parent) and communities that corporation owns (child) but also regional offices, etc.
Agreed! We are forced to create an app or use some extension such as an integration platform, which is unfortunate. This does not align with HubSpots' goal becoming a whole-in-one-platform for end-users. Hoping to see some updates soon! 🙂
