Sequence Error Notification and Sequence Restart

We've encountered the following issue and this is our suggestion for a future solution (which is a must in our opinion): 

The issue:

  • We have had three sequences that were stopped at Step 3 due to an "Error" 
  • The Error was fixed but the only way to continue the sequence was to re-enroll all the 500+ contacts to their respective sequence. 
  • Hence, the issue is that we couldn't start where we left off and sometimes that's quite a lot of work and it leaves room for human errors. 

Solution Suggested:

We need to be able to restart/continue a sequence if there is an error in some of the steps, once the error is fixed. Please, consider rolling out this update! It's vital

Totally agree. We just had this issue and there's currently no efficient solution to restart these people.

Someone else had posted an idea here which is the same sort of thinking.

 

A re-start/continue would definitely be good. There's already a 'resume' button but it's greyed out on the errors list page so could even make use of that and just allow it to be used for continuing once an error has been resolved. The worst that could happen is that it produces another error if the error hasn't been solved, while continuing the sequence for those where the error (like a disconnected inbox) has been fixed.
