Sending data to Contact Records from Emails in Service Hub

It would be great if there was a way to create tags that could be used in emails to send information to a contact record.  This way we could provide an email template to customers that would update their records with specific data.

In my mind, this would come into play when a ticket escalates and you need them to send information to continue forward or when your customers submit an email from a desktop application.

A use case would be a customer who emails tech support for computer repair.  The customer could write their Brand, Model#, Product ID, OS version between the tags and it would add this information to their contact record.  Each of these would have its own tag.  Or even if it could create a note this could be helpful.

 

The current situation is a client that has software that is an Excel add-on.  Within the add-on, their customers can request support.  When the customer clicks the support button it pulls up an email in outlook with a pre-written email which pulls in all the "version" information automatically. 

The client would like for the "version" information to auto-fill in their contact record when the email is sent.  The "version" information would be custom properties.  In my head, these properties would need custom tags.
