Currently, users do not have the option to send a copy of their form submission to customers. I feel that this is a basic feature that should be included.
I am aware of other workarounds such as forwarding submission message, but this should be a feature that's available for our forms tool as a whole. Thank you!
I would like to re-iterate this is a necessary feature that end-users should have when submitting a form to our HubSpot hosted site. They should be able to check what has been submitted especially since HubSpot does not allow us to overwrite the code for Error Prevention/Error suggestion on Forms which is a WCAG requirement. At the very least having a copy of what they have submitted and may wish to amend is vital.
The workaround of workflow actions and emails with personalisation tokens is just that, a workaround and it introduces huge risk in terms of the data that could be shared. Personalisation tokens pick up values from various objects, if they submit an answer in Form 1 for Question 1 which is NOT mandatory but in a second submission for Form 1 Question 1 choose to ignore it then in the follow up email the value from the first submission is present for the second submission incorrectly and could lead to negative customer contacts. Even using a workflow to clear values is risky and proves difficult if you wish to use those values in other areas i.e. tickets, emails, reports.
