Sending Sequences from a shared inbox

My team and I would like to be able to send email sequences to perspective clients from our shared email to keep everything in one place and have everything easily accessbile.

We are reviewing the ability for sequences to be sent from a shared inbox email address.

@glencornell any update on this? we are three years in.... And still no solution? 

 

how many people are interested in this? believe this is essential for the business? 

 

at present we are just not using sequences, as it does not work with how our business works, our business users group email boxes, not individual email boxes...

 

What's the deal with this, it's been years..... And were not being given any options??

@DTaroconeil This functionality isn't available currently, regardless of which level of marketing and sales hub you have.

 

@Mart I would recommend exploring workflows to see if you can create what you are hoping to accomplish there. We were able to transition from using sequences to using workflows when we moved from individual inboxes to shared inboxes.

Not possible with a workflow.... 

 

We would happily pay a reasonable cost to have access to send emails... (not that we should pay just for sequences from a shared box) the price difference between pro and enterprise.... is too high... to justify...

Is there ANY update on this? it has been so long. we just signed up and setting everything us. this is a huge disappointment making us question if this is a good fit for us after all.

+1 this is so needed, support teams work from shared inboxes, not with their direct emails. We REALLY need to happen.

 

I spoke to HS support today and they told there has been no movement regarding this and it does not seem there is a plan for it to happen, but the support guy said he put a request internally for the product team so hopefully, it will happen soon!

Agree! Some use cases here I've come across, including: 

- the ability to use a sequence to follow up with a customer to ensure instructions make sense/have been followed/check in to see if any further support is required 

- managing invoicing/billing setup processes: the sequence can be used to follow up on questions required to set up billing.

We're wanting to enable sequences, but the restriction of not being able to send the automated emails from a shared inbox is blocking this feature for us.

+1 - this is the only way our Service Hub (Enterprise no less) team members can actually use sequences.
