HubSpot Updates
Not Currently Planned
May 29, 2025 10:59 AM

Hi everyone!

I’m Hallie, a Program Manager on the CXM Team. Our product team has confirmed that this isn’t on the roadmap right now, so we’re marking it as ‘Not Currently Planned’ for the time being. Please keep sharing your feedback, because it really helps us understand what matters most. If anything changes, we’ll be sure to communicate updates here.

Thanks so much for your understanding 🙂

in all honesty,  we have been waiting for this to be implemented for years.

being told that this will not be implemented and is not planned,   raises the question whether HubSpot is the correct solution going forward.

as this should be standard functionality of the system,  many people have been waiting for six years already??

Our IT department has identified a potential risk in connecting email accounts to HubSpot, as this could expose security-classified information that should remain confidential. Currently, there is no way to restrict what data the connected email account can access. It would be preferable if sequences could be used without requiring a connected mailbox in HubSpot. The sender is a generic address, similar to those used for marketing emails, but these can still be associated with a specific HubSpot user?

Joining in to say this would be really helpful for us to improve support follow-up activities.

Adding on to this. It would be extremely beneficial to us!

Really takes away the effectiveness of shared inboxes, if reps then start sequencing out of their personal inbox.
