Send Membership registration email via workflow.

As a Hubspot customer...

1) I would like the ability to re-send the registration email via workflow so that I can respond "in the moment" to a visitors request for help without human intervention.

2) I would like the ability to use a workflow to send a series of emails with the registration link so that I can minimize incomplete registrations.

People that fill out a form to get access to private content. A workflow adds them to the list triggering the registration email. However, not everyone completes the step of creating their password and the forgot password doesn't work until the registration is complete. They have to contact the admin to manually resend the registration. There is usually a delay between their request and the admin resending the registration email that leaves the opportunity open to miss the email yet again. This a a perfect senario for a nurturing campaign with multiple emails with the goal of completing the registration process.

We have run into this issue multiple times now with different clients, so this would be a great addition.

Yes! This causes so much friction for us! It's a terrible user experience.  I'd also love for a stopgap in place when you're publishing an article before you email a transactional email out.  I've made an error to the list once and didn't realize that the email was sent to a full list of unintended people

This would be awesome to have!  Just throwing in my two cents.

A big ol' +1 on this one! Hard to believe there isn't a bulk option for this registration email. Hope to see traction on this soon!

+1 this is something we also really need to be able to do. 🙂

So I wanted to reach out to this thread to let you know that I met with a SA from HubSpot about this pain point and they offered a good solution.  There is a self-registration option in private content that we never wanted to touch because there wasnt as much documentation and were confused about because it was under the SSO header.

The SA suggested we turn this on to see if it met our needs and I believe it will ease some of the friction.  Now, if a customer receives a registration email and they don't respond, they can click the "register here" on the bottom of the page.  If they are on the list, they will be able to register and view the content.

I am still testing - I tested with public/private content but I haven't tested yet with private only.  If the private only doesn't work, I am thinking of having a public/private content KB with 1 public article walking through how to sign in.

I think this will help with the friction of at least giving a customer an opportunity to sign in if they missed the initial reg.  However, I would really like a workflow still because I also believe our customers forget about our help center.  In the meantime, I do plan on sending an email out next week to everyone who hasn't registered encouraging them to self register.

This is such an important feature for anyone migrating from an existing customer portal/private content area to HubSpot. If you send thousands of existing customers this email that they need to create a new password, the chances some of them don't see the first one are high and there should be a way to re-send the link to them.

We would also really appreciate this feature. It would be essential to our loyalty program workflows.

Hi all, thank you for submitting this idea!

I'm happy to share that automated follow-up registration emails is now in public beta. You can read more about setting up the feature on our knowledge base here and enroll in the beta using this link. Please feel free to leave additional feedback in this thread.

Agreed. We need to have the Resend Registration available on the login screen so our customers can resend it to themselves the same as they have the ablility to reset their password. We get anywhere from 5-10 requests a day from our customers and the manual process, even though faily simple, is a constant interuption to some of our staff that is tasked with doing it. I thought this number would slowly decrease, but it has actually increased as we've gotten more new customers.  We had this feature with our WordPress site.
Thanks

While I appreciate the setting to send a reminder, it's not flexible enough to match most use cases. Being able to send on demand via a workflow would greatly improve the registration rates we see for our learning management system. Without this, the scalability of any program leveraging the private content features in HubSpot is severely limited.

Hi all, the automated email follow-ups are now in general release. Regarding workflow actions for registration follow-ups, at this time, we do not plan on allowing registration emails to be triggered via workflow, as this can impact email deliverability. However, as an alternate solution, users can send the self-registration form to members via a marketing email triggered by a workflow.
