Our team has an recurring issue that stems from the Shopify integration that imports our Shopify catalog of products. However, Hubspot does not import all the pertinent information from Shopify that we need - key among them is the SKU. Honestly, this seems silly, the SKU is probably one of the single most important product properties that SHOULD DEFINITELY be imported with the product listing. It also pulls in all of our non-branded generic product listings.
This creates duplicates (sometimes triplicates) of nearly all of our products that are already set up within Hubspot for quoting purposes used by the Sales team for Deals & Quotes.
There is no clear way for our Sales team to exclude the Shopify products when creating a Deal or Quote which then leads to confusion from our Order Fulfillment team when SKUs and other details aren't matching.
Ultimately, this creates more work and inefficiencies in our order fulfillment process.
We just need a simple way to segregate Shopify products or exclude them from Hubspot Deals / Quotes Line Items so the Sales team is only able to select products from the Hubspot catalog we have set up.
ORRRRR, if the integration would just pull the SKU in from Shopify, then this whole mess can be avoided.
